About ANXRD
ANXRD began with a simple conviction: that the Bible speaks into the real things people carry — anxiety, grief, fear, questions, fractured relationships — and not only into the parts of life we have figured out. We wanted a tool that meets you where you are, in your own words, and points you to Scripture without rushing you past the hard parts.
Our name comes from Hebrews 6:19: “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” Hope, in Scripture, is not wishful thinking. It is a confident expectation anchored in the unchanging character of God. That is the hope we want every person who uses ANXRD to encounter.
How ANXRD works
Describe a situation, emotion, or question in your own words. ANXRD responds with the most relevant passages in your chosen translation, why they apply, the wider biblical teaching, steps you can take, a question to sit with, and a short prayer. You can also read the full Bible, save what God is showing you, and receive a daily verse in your inbox each morning.
